Quick & Easy – Midwest BBQ Meatballs

My childhood consisted of  thumbing throw good ole Lutheran Church cook books as an adolescent and teen. Growing up in northwest Minnesota, I thrived on the simple recipes, hitting the staples of meat and potatoes to feed the hungry men of the north! Check out this simple bbq meatball recipe. You can make it in 10 minutes or less.

PREP & GEAR

  • REHEAT OVEN 350 DEGREES
  • GRAB 9X13 BAKING DISH
  • MEASURING CUPS
  • MEASURING SPOONS
  • 2 MIXING BOWLS

MEATBALL INGREDIENTS

  • 2 LBS. HAMBURGER
  • ½ CUP GLUTEN-FREE BREADCRUMBS OR CRUSHED CRACKERS
  • ½ CUP MILK
  • 2 TBSP MINCED ONIONS
  • 2 TSP SALT

COMBINE THOROUGHLY & ROLL INTO 2-INCH BALLS.

PLACE & SPREAD OUT IN 9X13 BAKING DISH.

SAUCE INGREDIENTS

  • 1 CUP BROWN SUGAR OR COCONUT SUGAR
  • ½ CUP KETCHUP
  • 2 TSP MUSTARD
  • 3 TSP VINEGAR
  • 1 TBSP MINCED ONION

POUR SAUCE OVER MEATBALLS & BAKE AT 350 FOR 45 MINUTES
